Today I'm feeling

Well, I made it to the school reunion - not like my friend who'd made a pact with me that we'd go together!

An hour before I was due to leave the house, she rang to cancel. By this time I couldn't pull out as I'd offered a lift to someone else that lived nearby. I was absolutely crapping myself and don't think I stopped shaking until about 3 hours into the evening.

It was very strange, a lot of faces I hadn't seen for 20 years, but sadly none of the people I'd been good friends with had come - only about 20 out of our whole year had turned up!!

Another very wierd thing - my old school bully kept looking over at me, not smiling or anything, just looking, and looking away if I looked in her direction. In the end I just looked back and gave a huge smile and wave, then carried on talking to the person next to me. In less than a minute, this girl was next to me, asking how I was etc, as if I was a long lost friend!! I just gritted my teeth and carried on, even though inside I just wanted to smack her hard in the face, tell her how she'd made most of my teenage years hell and how I'd wish she'd just fuck off!

A surreal evening all round.

Little one's still full of cold - it's coming up to about 4 weeks now. Thankfully, she's eating a lot better, so is on the way to recovery. Just peed off that I've got it again now too ... grrr. I just want to curl up in bed, but can't as hubby won't take time off work :o(
