Today I'm feeling

Yesterday, the little one rolled onto her side for the first time!

I know that's not a huge thing, but I was starting to get a bit worried! lol

She's been ahead of the game with everything else - physically she's in the 99th percentile (we're now buying clothes for 9-12 months old!) and apparently everything else is happening early, so my HV says anyway (I don't listen to all the bragging the grandparents do, as they always say their grandchildren do everything before everyone else's lol).

But up until now, she's made no effort towards rolling over, crawling etc. For the last few months she's attempted to sit up by lifting her head and shoulders up, and crunching her tummy, but no attempt to using her hands/arms. And as for crawling, she tries if we roll her onto her tummy, but really can't be bothered - she loves shooting around the room on her back as if she's doing the backstroke.

In a couple of months time, I'll be looking back and wishing she couldn't crawl around and get into loads of mischief!
